TITLE OF POSITION:
Human Resources Administrator
POSITION TYPE:
Part-time, hourly, up to 25 hours per week
REPORTS TO:
Business Operations Director
PEERS WITH:
Other operations team staff
PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: This position includes administration of the hiring and
onboarding process, maintenance and updating of compensation agreements, job descriptions
and pay bands for all employees. The HR Administrator processes payroll on bi-weekly basis
including maintaining timekeeping records for hourly employees and proper deductions and
compensation. The HR Administrator is also responsible for processing and managing all
benefits enrollment/changes and renewals as well as conducting reference and background
checks, maintaining personnel records and other duties as assigned.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
• Maintain compensation and benefits systems that fit the company’s HR goals
• Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
• Conduct employee onboarding and help plan training & development
• Provide support to employees in various HR related topics such as leave, compensation,
and benefits.
• Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to HR activities such as staffing,
training and performance evaluations
• Implementation of human resource policies and procedures
• Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics
• Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
RESPONSIBILITIES: This position’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing
• Collect all timecards and leave requests, ensure approvals in place, accurately keep payroll
files up to date within appropriate pay period.
• Process bi-weekly payroll ensuring accuracy of vacation, sick and other accruals, deductions,
contributions, etc. two business days prior to scheduled pay date.
• Process payments for workers compensation, 403b program, HSA
• Manage and post leave requests into database calendar & record any vacation or sick leave
in payroll system.
• Ensure that all employees are paid in accordance with BACC compensation policy, IRS policy
and FLSA requirements and policies are kept up to date with any employment law changes.
Review appropriate SHRM and KTBS alerts/resources on a monthly basis as it relates to
FLSA/employment changes.
Employee Hiring, Onboarding, Ongoing Support
• Maintain personnel files
• Post job opening and process applicants resumes
• Complete background checks and reference checks
• Conduct I-9 Employment and identity verification
• Collect proper tax documentation
• Submit any health benefit information for processing
• Set up new employee in the payroll system and ensure accuracy of salary, vacation and sick
accrual, 403(b), HSA contributions, benefit status, etc.
• Assist as needed in onboarding process with hiring supervisor
• Maintain and update Employee Handbook
• Process employee status changes in payroll and benefits system
• Submit any necessary benefit information to insurance company for enrollment
• Ensure all personnel documentation and time keeping records are kept secure, confidential,
and up to date for necessary audits
• Assists with the annual and mid-year review process for employees
• Assist employees with any insurance issues or questions
Insurance Renewals
• Assist in the review and coordinate of renewal options of all medical, disability, and worker
compensation policies
• Update Housing Allowances annually
• Coordinate and implement the annual open enrollment insurance renewal process
Employee Status Changes
• Process employee status changes in payroll and benefits system
• Submit any necessary benefit information to insurance company for enrollment

• Demonstrates faith in Jesus Christ
• Agrees with BACC statement of faith and meets all requirements to be a Ministry
Partner
• Attends BACC or is willing to begin attending
• Self-motivated and requires little supervision
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Strong administrative ability
• Sound judgement and problem solving skills
• Understanding of HR best practices and current regulations
Desired Experience:
•
3+ year experience in Human Resources
•
SHRM certified or other HR Training
